Because our papers come from many different sources, our swatchbooks must be assembled by hand. Each contains 3” x 5” pieces which are numbered to correspond to a printed list in the swatchbook cover.Swatchbooks may vary from time to time based upon the selection available when they are made. Please order papers by their complete name, color, weight and size.
*There may be papers listed here which do not yet appear on the website. We appreciate your patience as we get them uploaded in the next few months.
For those of you who do not require a complete swatchbook, we can provide individual swatches. You may request up to 5 swatches at no charge. Additional 3" x 5" swatches will cost $0.75 each.

The cover of the catalogue depicts master papermaker of the Hosho Prefecture, Sachio Hamada-san, ready to couch a sheet of Tengucho, one of the world's thinnest handmade papers. The photograph was taken by paper department manager, Kathy Hyde, during a trip to Japan in 2005.
